Policy of
cancellation
In Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) you will find our legal conditions governing the contracting of our services. It is important that you read and understand them because, by making any reservation or contract, you agree to be bound by these T&C.
- Up to 45 days before the entry date established in the contract with registration penalty
- From 44 and up to 30 days before the entry date established in the contract with registration penalty, deposit
- From the 29th and up to 1 day before the entry date established in the contract with registration penalty, deposit + 1 monthly payment
- From the start date you cannot cancel the contract; if you cancel, you must pay everything for the accommodation, including the registration fee (the deposit is returned after the inspection

Reservations and payments
We remind you that to reserve any room or hire any of the services offered on our website, you must be of legal age or be of legal age during the course in which you will request accommodation.
You must provide all the data we request during the registration process and subsequently, as we indicate, during the recruitment process to be able to access our residence.
You have to make the reservation through the website, to complete the process you have to pay €300 registration and €1000 deposit.
You will then receive an email with the booking confirmation and access to the student portal where you can access and complete all the necessary data. In addition, you can upload those documents that are required to complete your file before arrival.
In the same portal you can access the contract so that you can check the contracted services, internal rules and the terms and conditions.
We will verify all the documentation and to finalize the reservation process, and depending on the length of the stay, you will have to pay 1 monthly payment to the account before arrival in the established terms. In short, before giving you access on the day of arrival, you must have the signed rules and regulations contract in your profile. In addition to having paid the Matricula.

If you want to spend the summer with us, just let us know so we can add the period from the end of the course to the start of the new year to your full-year contract.
In the process of completing the reservation, you must select the payment method with which the monthly payments will be paid. This form of payment cannot be modified in the profile. Any changes must be communicated in writing to info@atenealiving.com
The available payment options are:

• Bank Card: recurring payment
• Bank transfer for single payments for the entire accommodation.
Yes, all reservations have to pay €300 in registration fee to do lesr, but those enrolled in Tecnocampus will have a 50% discount. about the registration. You will have to prove your enrollment at the Tecnocampus and you will be paid this 50% in the first monthly payment.
In addition, paying all in one payment has a 3% discount on accommodation services for stays of 10 months or more (does not include pension service or complementary services)
Yes, we have the option of opting for a Scholarship that entitles you to a 20% discount on the price of accommodation, in a double room. The management and allocation of scholarships is the responsibility of the Tecnocampus, therefore, you should contact them to find out the requirements
The deposit is an amount used as a guarantee to cover damages or losses that occur in the room, common areas, inventory or residence in general (except for own wear and tear), or due to any other breach of the obligations included in the contract involving damages or non-payments.
The amount of the deposit less the cleaning costs on the day of departure €50 and the reasonable costs that you may incur due to the breach of any of the obligations under the contract, will be the amount that we will return to you as as soon as reasonably possible up to a maximum period of 70 days. You will have to provide the certificate of bank ownership on the day of departure for us to make the refund.

Arrivals and departures
The Atenea Living staff will welcome you and take care of everything you need during your stay.
Check-in takes place on the day the contract begins between 12 and 3 p.m. If you come another day after the day indicated in the contract, you must notify in advance, you can send an email info@atenealiving.com
During check-in, documentation provided in advance will be reviewed:
* Holder ID and guarantor if any
* Study registration
* Photography
* Contracted services, review of the signed contract together with the internal rules
* Selection of payment method and verification of bank details
* Check of advance payments: enrollment, deposit + 1 monthly payment.
After the review you will receive:
Room inventory
Wifi code
Access code
The day of departure must be the last day indicated in the contract before 10.00am. If the departure is earlier you must communicate this 1 month in advance to organize the departure.
You must arrange a day and time with the Atenea Living team to carry out the inspection of your room, you must leave it in the same condition in which it was delivered and it will be checked with the arrival inspection sheet .
In addition, the payment status of all monthly payments will be reviewed and we will refund the deposit in accordance with the terms and deadlines established in the contract.

Services
Atenea Living is in the Tecnocampus, just 20-30 meters away.
Bus and train. Barcelona is only 35-40 minutes away by train and the center of Mataró is 10 minutes away on foot.
Supermarket, gym, health center, restaurants… you are 10 minutes from the center of a city of 130,000 inhabitants, there is everything you could need.
You will find:
• private bathroom with shower
• wide bed (depending on the type of room you have booked from 90 to 160cm)
• wardrobes and shelves for your things
• office area with: fridge with freezer, microwave oven with grill, sink with tap and pantry
• air conditioning and independent heating
• Sheets for your bed and towels
• high speed wifi
• study space: table and chair

• maintenance service
• sea views
• balcony (depending on the type of room you have booked)
Your preferences are the most important thing to us, so that you feel as comfortable as possible. During your reservation process, you can tell us your preferences regarding the location of your room (on a specific floor, near a friend, etc.). When assigning your room, the team will make every effort to comply with your request, but we cannot guarantee that we will assign you the room with the requested features.
If during your stay you decide to change, you will have to contact the staff of the residence and it will be evaluated according to availability
Of course you can receive visits! During the day, our visiting hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. You must notify the team in advance of your visits and they must register. Remember that your guest can stay in the facilities as long as he is accompanied by you.
The common facilities cannot be used for visits, they are exclusive for the students staying.
You can invite a person to sleep in your room using the existing beds. The first 4 nights are free, the rest up to a maximum of 8 per month will have to pay €20 per night. Any overnight visit must be communicated in writing at least 48 hours in advance.
The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner services, as well as cafeteria service.
Check the timetables upon your arrival.
Take advantage of the special prices and book the half-board or full-board service from Monday to Friday.
Of course, you have two options: you can cook in your room using the microwave oven with grill or you can use the common kitchen facilities that we make available to you in Atenea Living. There you have ovens, stoves and fridges, as well as lockers to leave your kitchen utensils and your favorite ingredients.

At Atenea Living you have a public laundry where you can wash and dry all your clothes whenever you want. It works with a mobile application in which you can add credit for your laundry.
Your room is your new home, you have to keep it clean and tidy. However, the price includes 1 cleaning every 15 days. Includes cleaning of the bathroom and room, in addition, we will provide you with clean sheets and towels. The kitchen is not cleaned and we will not be able to tidy up or touch your belongings.
Sure, you just have to contact the management of Atenea Living and make your request, it will be evaluated and we will answer you very quickly.
You must notify us immediately so that we can repair the incident, do not attempt to fix anything. If the object has been damaged by misuse or inappropriate use, the repair costs will be borne by you
We have limited parking spaces available at Atenea Living, ask for price information and make a reservation to guarantee yourself one. For bikes, right across the street you have a large public bike parking area.

Security
Atenea Living is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year and you can always contact someone from our team. All access to the premises (exterior, restaurant, common areas, corridors and rooms) are controlled with a modern and secure access management system through an app and personal access. In addition, we have a complete video surveillance system so you don’t have to worry about anything

Unfortunately no, Atenea Living is not allowed to have pets throughout the premises
We do not have medical equipment at the residence and we are not authorized to provide any type of medicine. For this reason we advise you to assign yourself a social security doctor in the outpatient clinic closest to the residence (Camí Ral, 208. 08301 Mataró T. +34 937 555 190)
Yes, we want you to feel at home. But remember to use items that do not need to be nailed to the wall or furniture, as this type of modification or alteration that spoils or damages walls or furniture can affect the deposit on your departure.
Bring everything you think you’ll need. We advise you to take into account:
• first aid kit
• hangers
• personal cleaning products
• cleaning products to maintain your room.
• tableware, plates, glasses and cutlery
